AOI to hold Gynae-Oncology CME and Workshop in Hyderabad on March 9

American Oncology Institute (AOI), one of India’s leading chain of cancer hospitals founded by a team of cancer care experts from UPMC, Pittsburgh, USA, will be organising a CME and Workshop on Gynaec Oncology at its institute in Nallagandla on March 3.
In a release on February 27, Organising Chairman Dr M Babaiah, said “In its efforts to provide quality treatment and awareness on recent updates on treatment of Gynaecological cancer, the institute in association with Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of Hyderabad (OGSH) is organizing a CME (Continuing Medical Education) and Workshop under the theme ‘Enrich the endeavours in Gynaecological cancer care.
The event is specifically targeted at all practicing Gynaecologists from around the country and the participants will have an enriching experience with the keynote presentations, talks, Live workshops, video presentations on various topics on Gynaec Oncology, he said.
The program has been designed in an interdisciplinary manner with a multitude of tracks to choose from every segment and provide a unique opportunity to meet up with peers from both industry and academia and establish a scientific network among them.
The event provides a gathering of knowledge among researchers, doctors and oncologists to introduce and present about constructive, observational and hypothetic work in each part of Gynaec Oncology, the Organising Chairman said. Gynaec Oncology is a branch of medicine that centres around diseases of the reproductive system of females, including Ovarian cancer, Uterine cancer, Vaginal cancer, Cervical cancer and Vulvar cancer.
The professionals have been broadly preparing in the finding and treatment of these malignant growth. Every disease is characterised by its signs, risk factors and in their methods of killing movement. Currently, AOI operating Comprehensive care centers in Hyderabad, Guntur, Vijayawada, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Hisar, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar and planning to open four more centers in Sri Lanka in the current year. The Institute also plans to open 18-20 centers over a period of next two years across multiple cities to provide International standards of cancer care across South Asia, the release added.
