Andhra Pradesh CM assures medical college to West Godavari district

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on July 3 assured to sanction medical college to West Godavari district.
The CM was speaking on the occasion of unveiling the bronze statue of film actor of yesteryear's late S V Ranga Rao during the centenary celebrations at Y Junction, near Kalakaparru tollgate. Naidu promised to sanction a government medical college to West Godavari district. He also promised to set up S V Ranga Rao museum in the district. He underlined the need of developing West Godavari district as tourism hub. He said that the district has potential to be developed as best tourism center.
"One of the biggest sweet water lake and the Pattiseema lift irrigation project are located in the district, making the district as tourism attraction, besides one of the biggest irrigation projects in the country the Polavaram project is coming up and Papikondalu in the river Godavari which are also attracting places," he said.
Remembering the film actor, the Chief Minister said that S V Ranga Rao would remain in the cinema history as he acted in memorable film. He said that S V Ranga Rao in those days was given equal preference with N T Rama Rao in Telugu films. It is not possible to any actor to deliver dialogue like S V Ranga Rao, he lauded.
Later, the Chief Minister inaugurated Non-Gazetted Officers (NGO) association Bhavan in Eluru. Speaking on the occasion he recalled that the non-gazetted officers association carried out massive struggle against the bifurcation of combined AP state. The NGOs are extending their support for the development of the state after division of the state, he complimented.
Mr.Naidu lauded NGOs state president P Ashok Babu stating that he had leadership qualities and invited him into the Telugu Desam party to play an active role. The Chief Minister listed out the welfare schemes, being implemented by the government, and announced that the government would complete the construction of houses for the house-less poor by March 2019.
