Affidavit filed by Centre at Delhi HC to revise rare disease policy

India Today Dec 21, 2018

The central government on December 20 filed an affidavit with the Delhi high court requesting to revise the policy on rare diseases that was filed and approved last year.

It was pointed out to the court that the National Health Mission (NHM) bill only includes primary and secondary care and does not look after the management of rare diseases which falls under tertiary care.
