About 50,000 to get employment in Health and Pharma sector in UP

Uttar Pradesh government has got 27 proposals of Rs 6,362 crore in health care and pharmaceutical sectors which will generate about 50,000 employment, said Pankaj Kumar, director National Health Mission, UP.
In these proposals major 8 projects worth Rs 5,378 for health services particularly in Greater Noida, Noida, Lucknow, Mathura, Ghaziabad and Moradabad districts will generate 36,940 employment opportunities. Projects in primary health care sector will develop facilities of radiology and pathology, diagnostics services along with super specialty hospitals in these regions.
From pharmaceutical sector, 19 investors have sent proposals of Rs 984 crore companies which will generate 12,525 employment opportunities. These projects will be established in Lucknow, Moradabad, Noida, Hamirpur, Sitapur, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur Kheri and Meerut districts. All MoUs will be signed during Investors summit 2018 scheduled on February 21 and 22.
