65 new mothers administered wrong injections

The condition of 65 new mothers deteriorated after they were administered wrong injections at the Kamla Raja Hospital, hospital sources said.
The women started feeling cold after being administered wrong injections along with drips. On being informed, Assistant Superintendent and gynecologist Rita Mishra and senior doctors reached the hospital. Later, the affected were administered injections and medicines. Six women were shifted to intensive care units. Their condition was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, In-charge Superintendent Sanjay Chandel and his deputy Jitendra Narwaria formed a three-member team to investigate the matter and submit a report within 48 hours to the Dean. Replies have been sought from doctors on night duty as well.
