Six people died of swine flu in the government hospital here over the past one week, hospital sources said on November 2.


Twelve others have been hospitalised with the flu and their condition was better, they said. In some areas of the district, people were hospitalised after complaining of high fever and blood tests were conducted, officials said, adding that steps were being taken to contain the spread of the viral fever.
