56-yr-old patient jumps to death in Nashik

A 56-year-old patient allegedly committed suicide by jumping from rooftop of the Departmental Referral Service
Hospital in Shalimar area of the city on Wednesday.

 

 


The deceased, identified as Kisan Patole, a resident of Deolali Camp area near Nashik Road, was taking treatment in the hospital for several days. Today he went to the hospital's terrace and jumped. He sustained head injury and succumbed later in the hospital. The Bhadrakali police rushed to the spot. The reason behind suicide is yet to be established.
It is believed that Mr Patole had taken this extreme step due to depression. The Bhadrakali police has registered a case of accidental death in this case, sources said and added further investigation is on.
