The three-day fourth World Congress of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (WCPOS) organized by L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) will be held in the city from December 1 to 3.
 

Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, Dr Ramesh Kekunnaya, Head of Services, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Adult Strabismus & Neuro-Ophthalmology, Child Sight Institute, Jasti V Ramanamma Children's Eye Care Centre, LVPEI said that the World Congress features an exceptional scientific programme including scientific symposia, live surgery, free paper sessions, numerous workshops, debates and a mock trial.

The 4th WCPOS also to introduce some exciting new features including the first ever Yoga-with-the-Gurus session in addition to a Live Surgery session and an Adult-Paediatric Interface Day, he said.Dr Ramesh said more than 1000 delegates from over 60 countries are attending the Congress.500 plus specialty lectures and 350 plus posters/papers/videos that would be presented along with video presentations.
