A two-day pharma trade show and conference, PharmaLytica 2017, organised by UBM India began at Hitex here today.

PharmaLytica 2017 is an ideal platform for pharma professionals from the Analytical & Bio Tech, Lab equipments & Lab Chemicals, Pharma machinery and packaging industry. The 4th edition witnessed over 150 exhibitors from across the country including notable industry players such as Standard Group of Companies, Sanitt equipment and Machines, Gandhi Auto motions, Mack Pharma tech, S K Pharma Mechinary, Sterimax Engineering and among others. Telangana Information Technology Principal Secretary Jayash Ranjan who inaugurated the event said it was very appropriate that this event was held in Hyderabad and seen tremendous response from the pharma industry.

Mr Ranjan said that two significant developments were happening in Hyderabad. One was the development of largest “Pharma City” in the world consisting of 15,000 acres coming up in the city. In the first phase of 8,000 acres was ready to be launched. “We are having environmental public hearing exercise on September 18. Once it is completed the land to be allotted to the companies and the infrastructure to be developed.

There is a huge amount of business opportunity for machinery manufacturing and supply industry”, he said. Another one was “ Medical Devices Park”. It was already launched in 15 acres of land. But the kind of response from the industry it was expanded to 250 acres and dedicated to the medical devices manufacturing, he said and added that 12 companies were allotted land in this Park. Mr Ranjan also requested the UBM authorities if the buyers have shown interest to visit the park today or tomorrow, the government will provide transport facilities to them.
