4 medical officers among 26 found absent in Rajouri, action initiated

Four medical officers among 26 employees were today found absent in various departments of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
District Administration, Rajouri today conducted surprise inspection of 23 Government offices in Darhal, Thanamandi, Plangar, Fatehpur, Manjakote, Kakora, Ghambir and Doongi simultaneously through special squad heads by district officers, official spokesman here said. He said that during the inspections 26 officers were found absent while a number of lapses in discipline and office management were noted.
Additional District Development Commissioner A S Chib organized the inspections and supervised. He said that a report has been submitted to the District Development Commissioner Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary for disciplinary action in the matter. Pertinently district administration has been constantly carrying out inspection of offices in various remote areas and stringent action has been taken against absentees
