As many as 113 fresh cases of diarrhea and dehydration had been reported in the local Civil hospital since July 26 night.
 

Dr Shailesh, District Epidemiologist, said that 741 patients suffering from cholera/diarrhea had been reported in the local Civil Hospital in the past few days of which 373 had been admitted in the civil hospital till now. 63 patients were still under treatment in the hospital. The department had got conducted test of stool culture of 69 patients of which 26 were confirmed suffering from cholera disease. The health department had distributed 6,000 packets of ORS and 74,000 chlorine tablets in the affected areas. It may be recalled that four people have died of cholera till now after the cholera and diarrhea outbreak.
