Al tmimi L, et al. - This study hypothesized that in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgery, 30% xenon added to general anesthesia with propofol results in superior hemodynamic stability when compared to anesthesia with propofol alone. In this patient population, the addition of 30% xenon to propofol afforded improved hemodynamic stability via attenuating norepinephrine needs.
