The Bone & Joint Journal Jan 11, 2018

Sprague S, et al. - Researchers, herein, assessed the impact of wound irrigation solution (soap vs normal saline) and irrigation pressure (very low vs low vs high) on health-related quality of life (HRQL) in patients with open fractures. They found nil impact of both the composition of the irrigation solution as well as irrigation pressure on HRQL.
