Liljehult MM, et al. – The current study was expected to explore whether baseline postural control and walking ability in patients with glioblastoma could predict long term walking ability and one–year mortality. The results seemed to suggest that Berg Balance Scale has some ability to anticipate the loss of walking ability 4Â8 months after admission and this could be an important indicator pin pointing patients most in need of more intensive specialized neurorehabilitation efforts early in the disease course.
