Bi WG, et al. - A systematic review was performed to assess the effect of vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy on offspring morbidity and mortality. Findings revealed a reduction in risk of fetal or neonatal mortality, small for gestational age and wheezing in the offspring at age 3 years with vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy.
