Jung J, et al. – In this research work, the scientists evlauted of the most comfortable listening level (MCL) of active middle–ear implants compared with that of conventional hearing aids (HA) in patients with moderate and moderate–to–severe sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). They approved that Vibrant Soundbridge (VSB) implantation nearly normalized MCL for patients with SNHL. Hence, VSB implantation was a good option for hearing rehabilitation in patients with SNHL, in terms of normalizing MCL.
