Variations in the labyrinthine segment of facial nerve canal revealed by high-resolution computed tomography
Auris Nasus Larynx Aug 15, 2017
Jin A, et al. – This research work was planned to study variations in the labyrinthine segment of fallopian canal and the associated middle and inner ear malformations. Investigations demonstrated that in the labyrinthine segment of the facial nerve, a variety of congenital variations might occur. These variations were often associated with middle or inner ear malformations. By high–resolution computed tomography (HRCT) with multi–planar reformation (MPR) or curved–planar reformation (CPR) images, these malformations could be clearly displayed.
