Value-based decision making under uncertainty in hoarding and obsessive- compulsive disorders

Pushkarskaya H, et al. - The purpose of the study was to investigate differences in valuation and value-based choice under uncertainty in obsessive- compulsive disorder (OCD) and hoarding disorder (HD). Findings revealed that fidelity of value-based decision making correlated positively with HD symptom severity. Results of this study suggested that decision-making impairments in OCD and HD, which can appear quite similar clinically, might have importantly different underpinnings.
