Utilization of rehabilitation therapy services in Parkinson's disease in the United States

Fullard ME, et al. – Utilization of rehabilitation therapy for Parkinson's disease (PD) was examined in this study. This claims–based analysis proposed that among older patients with PD in the United States, rehabilitation therapy utilization was lower than reported for countries with comparable health care infrastructure. Neurologist care was correlated with rehabilitation therapy use, however, provider supply was not.
