Utility of serum inflammatory markers for predicting microvascular invasion and survival for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma

Zheng J, et al. - The associations between six inflammatory markers with recurrence-free survival (RFS), overall survival (OS), and microvascular invasion (MVI), a well-known prognostic factor for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma were determined. The platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio was shown to be associated with RFS and OS and albumin was associated with MVI.
