Panwar J, et al. - This study entails CT characterization of sacroiliitis related to spondyloarthritis (SpA) and gout. It was demonstrated in this limited analysis that CT imaging could help in differentiating the two. Over and above the already established features of gout on radiography, multilobulated base of erosions and absence of subchondral sclerosis could possibly distinguish sacroiliitis in SpA from gout.
