He F, et al. - Analysts utilized prenatal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to characterize features of meconium peritonitis (MP) and aimed to examine the connection between prenatal MRI findings and postnatal outcomes. Prenatal MRI could be useful for diagnosing MP, in cases where the specific MRI findings were persistent meconium ascites, a dilated bowel loop, micro-colorectum, and meconium pseudocyst. Specifically, a micro-colorectum could indirectly reflect ileum atresia, which requires postnatal surgery.
