Lee YSG, et al. - Platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) has recently been studied as a biomarker in patients with established coronary artery disease (CAD). In this current investigation, it was shown that elevated PLR was related to long-term all-cause mortality in patients at high risk of CAD undergoing coronary angiography. Notably, PLR may be a useful prognostic biomarker in this patient population.
