Usefulness of high dose oral flecainide for termination of recent onset atrial fibrillation in children
The American Journal of Cardiology Apr 01, 2018
Liberman L, et al. - The efficacy of a single large dose of oral flecainide for acute termination of atrial fibrillation (AF) or atrial flutter or intra-atrial reentry tachycardia (AFL-IART) in children in a hospital setting was investigated. Without side effects, successful termination of AF of less than 24 hours duration was achieved in all pediatric patients with the use of a large single dose of oral flecainide, however, this approach was less effective for AFL-IART in patients with heart disease.
