Drucker AM, et al. – This paper resolved to reach consensus among an international group of atopic dermatitis experts on the utility of systemic corticosteroids for atopic dermatitis. The findings revealed that the routine use of systemic corticosteroids for atopic dermatitis was generally discouraged, on the basis of the expert opinion from the International Eczema Council (IEC). Its use ought to be reserved for special circumstances.
