Lundin S, et al. - Experts gauged the use of emollients and topical glucocorticoids in adolescents with eczema in relation to sex and disease severity, and study dispensing patterns of topical glucocorticoids. As per data, undertreatment or completely no treatment was seen in adolescents with eczema, these findings were true even in those with severe eczema. A total of 24% among those with reported eczema had a topical glucocorticoid dispensed in the preceding year and 24% among those with moderate-to-severe current eczema demonstrated a dispensed potent topical glucocorticoid.
