Bao SH, et al. - This study assessed the utility of plasma D-dimer as a guide to anticoagulant treatment in recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) related to antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). Findings revealed that all APS women were not required to be treated with combination therapy with low-dose aspirin [LDA] and low molecular weight heparin [LMWH] but women with an elevated D-dimer level evidently derived benefits from this combination therapy.
