Patel DN, et al. - The physicians conducted this work to present and evaluate a quantitative system for designating prostate tumor location on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and prostatectomy. It is demonstrates that a system for describing tumor location will facilitate research correlating MRI and pathology. In addition, the prostate cylindrical coordinate (PCC) system quantitatively define lesions seen on MRI and prostatectomy pathology with good agreement.
