Usage of ambulance transport and influencing factors in acute coronary syndrome: A cross-sectional study at a tertiary centre in China
BMJ Open Aug 28, 2017
Ma J, et al. – The transportation mode option to a hospital in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) was assessed during this research. It also examined the factors affecting ambulance use. Low ambulance utility was reported in the study cohort. An independent link was disclosed between factors like single, taking Suxiaojiuxin pills or nitrates before going to the hospital, diagnosed with ST–elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), accompanied by vomiting and persistent symptoms with ambulance use. Prospective education programmes targeting these factors would increase peopleÂs knowledge on ACS and the benefits of ambulance use.
