Wheeler KK, et al. - This work was performed with the aim to assess readmission rates and risk factors for acutely injured pediatric trauma patients. Overall, low readmission rate for pediatric trauma patients was evident. Researchers identified measures of injury severity, specifically length of stay, as most useful in assessing those who would benefit from targeted care coordination resources.
