Wang H, et al. - Experts formulated a research work to gauge the relationship between urinary fibrinogen and kidney outcomes in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). This study unearthed a correlation of urinary fibrinogen with interstitial fibrosis and tubular atrophy. In addition, it was an independent risk factor for progression of CKD to end-stage kidney or renal disease (ESRD).
