Upper limb isokinetic strengthening versus passive mobilization in patients with chronic stroke: A randomized controlled trial

Coroian F, et al. - A comparative exploration was performed of the advantage of isokinetic strengthening (IS) of the upper limb (UL) with passive mobilization, among chronic stroke patients. IS did not appear to be superior to passive mobilization, within the setting of a comprehensive rehabilitation program. A sustained benefit on impairments and function of late UL rehabilitation programs were recommended for stroke patients.
