Unipedal diagnostic lymphangiography followed by sequential CT examinations in patients with idiopathic chyluria: A retrospective study
American Journal of Roentgenology Mar 10, 2018
Dong J, et al. - An investigation was conducted to determine the clinical value of diagnostic lymphangiography followed by sequential CT examinations in patients with idiopathic chyluria. The presence of lymphourinary fistulas, the precise location of lymphatic anomalies, the distribution of collateral lymphatic vessels, and hydrodynamic pressure abnormalities could be detected in the lymph circulation through analysis of the drainage of contrast medium on unipedal diagnostic lymphangiography and redistribution of contrast medium on sequential CT examinations in patients with idiopathic chyluria. Additional information was yielded via CT staging of chyluria, which could be used for therapeutic management.
