Ahiskalioglu A, et al. - This study provides insight into the comparative efficacies of ultrasound guided sacral hiatus injection and conventional sacral canal injection performed for caudal block in children. Findings demonstrated that use of ultrasound attenuated the complications and increased the success rate of first puncture in pediatric caudal injection and hence, was recommended despite limitations in central neuroaxial anesthesia.
