The Journal of Pain May 25, 2018
de-Miguel-Valtierra L, et al. - Researchers undertook a randomized clinical trial to compare the effects of adding US-guided percutaneous electrolysis into a program consisting of manual therapy and exercise on pain, related-disability, function and pressure sensitivity in subacromial pain syndrome. Findings suggested no significant impact of the inclusion of US-guided percutaneous electrolysis into a manual therapy and exercise program on disability and pressure pain sensitivity than the application of manual therapy and exercise alone in patients with subacromial pain syndrome.
