As per data, their survival rates compared favorably with current published national survival rates. Poorest five-year survival was observed for Dukes C2 patients, highlighting the significance of a positive apical node. A particularly good outcome was observed for Dukes D patients indicating good patient selection by the multi-disciplinary meeting (MDT) and high-quality oncology and tertiary surgical support.
