Zhou HY, et al. - During this trial, authors analyzed the tie-up between oesophageal tumour motion and tumour location through the cine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in subjects with oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma. A possible correlation was brought to light between oesophageal tumour motion in different directions with tumour location revealed via cine MRI. This, in turn, indicated that the yielded findings could prove to be beneficial for a better comprehension of the oesophageal tumour motion and gating individualised radiation delivery strategies.
