Sarioglu S, et al. - An exploration was carried out of the salivary gland carcinomas for tumor deposits (TDs). No variations were noted for TDs when histological type, tumor grade, tumor localization, pT, pN stage, surgical margin, lymphovascular, perineural invasion, local recurrence, distant metastatic disease and overall survival were taken into account. Findings disclosed that TDs illustrated a connection with poor prognosis.
