Locke JA, et al. – This meta–analysis evaluated the outcomes of radiological and surgical interventions for varicocele in children and adolescents. Investigations displayed that there was low to moderate level of evidence that radiological or surgical treatment of adolescent varicocele was associated with improved testicular size/growth and sperm concentration. However, the ultimate effects on fertility and paternity rates remained unknown.
