Wakahashi S, et al. - The prognostic significance of transformed follicular lymphoma (TFL) expression in advanced endometrial cancer was assessed in this investigation. From 103 patients with FIGO stage III-IV endometrial cancer, tissue samples were obtained. Using the Kaplan-Meier method and multivariate Cox proportional-hazards regression models, relationships between TFL expression and outcomes were assessed. In univariate analysis, the 10-year progression-free survival and overall survival for 24 TFL-low cases were lower than those for patients with normal TFL expression. According to the findings, TFL was identified as a strong independent prognostic factor, regardless of estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) status.
