Chen Y, et al. – In this prospective study, the researchers intended to verify the use of a modified technique for immediate implant insertion simultaneously with sinus augmentation in different types of sockets. It is promising to join the 2 techniques for replacing maxillary molars particularly when using residual roots as implant orientation and taking full advantage of the interradicular crest bone in consideration of the advantages of sinus floor augmentation and immediate implant placement.
