Transabdominal robot-assisted diaphragmatic plication: A 3.5-year experience

Roy SB, et al. – In this paper, physicians presented their 3.5–year experience with 22 consecutive patients who underwent transabdominal, robot–assisted diaphragmatic plication for diaphragmatic paralysis. The realized that transabdominal robotic diaphragmatic plication involved small incisions but improved surgical dexterity. Surgical times were reasonable, and this surgical technique could be adopted with a quick but steep learning curve. Early results indicated good functional outcomes.
