Aiolfi A, et al. - Given that trans-gastric ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) (TG-ERCP) is a viable option for managing patients with symptomatic post-Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) choledocolithiasis, researchers undertook this systematic review and meta-analysis and examined the outcomes of TG-ERCP to better define the risk-benefit ratio of this procedure and to guide clinical decision-making. The outcomes supported TG-ERCP to be a safe and effective therapeutic option for these patients.
