Zerbinati N, et al. - In the patients with alopecia areata (AA) treated in the departments of Dermatology and Venereology of Bergamo, Como and Pavia, authors sought to evaluate the effectiveness and the prognostic factors of topical immunotherapy. They concluded that the topical immunotherapy in patients with AA was efficacious. In such patients, topical immunotherapy was noted to be mostly well tolerated and provided prolonged therapeutic benefits.
