Dulaney DT, et al. – The objective of performing this work is to evaluate smoking as an independent risk factor for post–transplant biliary complications. Findings prove smoking status as an independent predictor of post–transplant biliary complications. The data thereby highlights the importance of early smoking cessation in the pre–transplantation period.
