Fukumitsu K, et al. - Whether tiotropium improves cough and cough reflex sensitivity in asthmatic patients refractory to inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting β2 agonists (ICS/LABA), was investigated herein. Findings suggested that via modulating cough reflex sensitivity but not thorough bronchodilation, tiotropium may alleviate asthmatic cough refractory to ICS/LABA.
