Poppe K, et al. - Whether the lower risk of miscarriage in the latest meta-analysis was associated with the increased use of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in recent studies was examined in this analysis. From January 1990 to May 2017, MEDLINE was searched. Studies included in which women were treated with ICSI only. Compared with women without thyroid autoimmunity (TAI), infertile women with TAI treated with ICSI had no increased risk for a first-trimester miscarriage.
