Ishigaki K, et al. - This retrospective analysis aimed to explain risk factors for thromboembolism (TE) and its clinical effect in Japanese patients with pancreatic cancer. In Japanese patients receiving chemotherapy for advanced pancreatic cancer, thromboembolism was not uncommon and was correlated with poor prognosis. For TE, liver metastasis was the risk factor.
