Ma D, et al. – This study was designed to verify the ability of high thoracic epidural anesthesia (TEA) for reverse myocardial fibrosis in heart failure ascribed to dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). In the given patient population, TEA combined with optimal medical therapy (OMT) could reverse myocardial fibrosis and improve cardiac function.
