Therapeutic response to domperidone in gastroparesis: AÂ prospective study using the GCSI-daily diary

Heckert J, et al. - The authors conducted this prospective study to ascertain the effectiveness of domperidone for gastroparesis symptoms using the gastroparesis cardinal symptom index-daily diary (GCSI-DD) and to determine which symptoms improved and when with domperidone treatment. By reducing overall gastroparesis symptom severity and decreasing early satiety, postprandial fullness, and nausea, domperidone improved symptoms of gastroparesis. For gastroparesis, GCSI-DD was found to be useful to document the efficacy of therapy.
